Who comes on our singles holidays?

Our singles walking holidays attract a friendly mix of mainly UK and Irish travellers, typically aged between 50 and 75, with groups of around 7 to 15 people. Although we usually have slightly more women than men, everyone shares a love of gentle walking, good company and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.

People join us for all sorts of reasons. Some are newly single, others have partners who don’t enjoy walking, while some bring a friend for a little moral support. The only rule is simple, no couples!

Many guests return time and again. One has now joined us more than 30 times, while another travelled with us three times during 2025.

We also understand that travelling alone for the first time can feel like a big step, particularly after a difficult period in life. That’s why we take extra care to make everyone feel comfortable, included and welcome from the moment they arrive.

Our singles holidays are about friendship, companionship and gentle adventure – with plenty of laughter along the way.
