Who comes on our singles holidays?

Our singles walking holidays attract a friendly mix of travellers, most aged between 50 and 75, with groups typically ranging from 10 to 20 people. We welcome guests mainly from the UK and Ireland, with a few joining us from further afield. Although our groups usually have a slight female bias, everyone shares the same things; a love of gentle walking, good company and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.

People join us for many different reasons. Some guests are recently divorced or separated, others have partners who simply don’t enjoy walking and some bring a friend for moral support if they’re not quite ready to travel alone. The only rule on our singles holidays is simple: no couples.

Many of our travellers return again and again. One guest has now walked with us 30+ times and another has already joined us three times during 2025.

We’re also very aware that some people are travelling alone for the first time after a personal loss. We understand how big this step is and we promise kindness, care and our full attention throughout your holiday.
