About our walking holidays for singles on Menorca

Our singles walking holidays in Menorca are designed to be enjoyed, not endured. Created especially for solo travellers, they combine gentle, scenic walks with delicious local food and wine, all in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

We understand that travelling alone can feel a little daunting, particularly if it’s something you haven’t done for a while. That’s why you’re welcome to bring a friend along for a little extra support. There’s just one rule – no couples!

Based at a charming hotel, there are no single supplements to pay and no room sharing required. It’s the perfect balance of comfort, companionship, gentle outdoor adventure and the freedom to enjoy Menorca at your own pace.

The walks

Our Menorca walks are typically around six miles and taken at a relaxed, enjoyable pace, with plenty of time to take in the scenery along the way. Many follow the island’s stunning coastline, with clifftop paths, turquoise coves and beautiful sea views. Others take us through Menorca’s lush countryside and dramatic limestone ravines, giving you a wonderful variety of landscapes and experiences throughout the week.

Every walk is personally guided by your holiday organisers and hosts, so you’ll have friendly company and local knowledge throughout the day. A backup vehicle accompanies the group on every walk, ready to provide a lift if needed and allowing us to respond quickly in the unlikely event of an emergency.

The vehicle also carries plenty of fresh drinking water, along with tea, coffee and biscuits, perfect for a welcome break during the day’s activities.

Our holiday base

For our 2027 singles walking holiday, we’ve chosen the lovely Hotel Patricia as our base in Ciutadella. Ideally situated beside the harbour, it’s just a short walk from the historic centre, with its charming streets, cafés, restaurants and lively squares.

The hotel is bright, modern and welcoming, with a relaxed atmosphere that makes it an ideal place to unwind after a day out. There’s a lovely outdoor swimming pool and a small gym, while the comfortable public areas provide a great spot to relax with fellow walkers.

A delicious buffet breakfast is served each morning, including freshly brewed coffee and a selection of local Menorcan produce. Bedrooms are spacious, bright and comfortable, with parquet flooring and air conditioning, just the job after a day exploring Menorca on foot.

With free Wi-Fi throughout, Hotel Patricia provides a comfortable and convenient base for our singles walking holiday.

The food

We’re often told that our holidays could be marketed as much for the food as for the walking and we can’t really argue! The quality of the food and wine is far higher than you might typically expect from an activity holiday, and for many of our guests, mealtimes become one of the highlights of the week.

Throughout your stay, we enjoy lunch at a selection of carefully chosen local restaurants, each selected for its quality, character and authentic Menorcan feel. Many are popular with local residents, which we always take as a very good sign, and we continually review and refine our choices to make sure the standard remains high.

A cold welcome drink awaits you when we arrive, and as much wine as you like is included with lunch. With great food, good wine and plenty of conversation, our mealtimes are relaxed, sociable and very much part of the fun.
