About our walking holidays for couples on Mallorca

Our couples walking holidays on Mallorca are simply fabulous. A combination of ‘not too strenuous’ fully guided mountain walking, fine food/wine and a lovely 4-star holiday base on the stunning Port of Soller. A truly wonderful Balearic outdoor experience.

The walks

The walks during this holiday take place amongst the spectacular Tramuntana mountain range. Each is of around 6 miles in distance and of medium difficulty. Whilst being in the middle of a mountain range, much of the walking takes place along ridges and gentle downhill undulations. All walks are taken at the pace of the slowest in the group and we always have at least 2 guides in attendance and we have a vehicle tracing the route. This is in case anyone needs a lift, but it also carries all required fresh drinking water plus tea, coffee and biscuits. If you use a walking stick, don’t worry about bringing one with you, as these are also supplied.

Our holiday base

We’re delighted to announce that we’re returning to the lovely “Los Geranios” hotel in the up-market resort of Port of Soller. The hotel is right on the beach and a short walk from the area’s classy restaurants and bars. The hotel is boutique in style and all rooms are bright, ensuite and have UK television channels. They also have ample balconies.  The breakfast at the hotel is excellent and a great opportunity to try local products. The staff are also excellent here and it’s almost like being looked after by friends.

The food

It’s often said that we should market our holidays as a gastronomic experience. The level of food and wine available is much better from what you’d normally expect from an activity holiday. During the week, we’ll eat at various local restaurants. Some of these are in charming villages and others with spectacular sea views. All wine and a drink on arrival is included in your holiday price.

• The allocation of rooms is random, but should you decide that you want to guarantee a full sea view, we can give you a supplement quote upon request.
