About our Mallorca Experience Plus holiday for 2027
Mallorca Experience Plus brings together gentle walking, fascinating cultural visits, excellent food and lovely accommodation in one relaxed and enjoyable holiday. It’s perfect for those who love exploring the outdoors, but prefer to take things at an easy pace – no strenuous walks, no rushing, just plenty of time to enjoy Mallorca’s spectacular scenery, wonderful food and local culture.
As with all our holidays, good company and plenty of fun are at the heart of the experience. Expect beautiful walks, relaxed lunches in the sunshine, interesting places to discover and lots of laughter along the way, all with the friendly, unhurried atmosphere that makes a Balearic Outdoor Holiday so special.
Your week
Mallorca Experience Plus is designed around a simple idea: a little walking, a little culture, plenty of good food and lots of time to relax. During the week, you’ll enjoy three gentle guided walks of around 3–4 miles, two professionally guided cultural visits and a free day to explore at your own pace.
Here’s an idea of how your week might look. We’re always looking for new experiences and great places to visit, so the programme may be subject to small changes.
Friday 24 September – Arrival day
Arrive at the hotel, settle in and relax after your journey. In the evening, we’ll enjoy a welcome supper, and you’ll have the chance to get to know your hosts and fellow guests.
Saturday 25 September – Gentle walk
Our first 3–4 mile guided walk takes us through some of Mallorca’s beautiful scenery, followed by a delicious 3-course lunch with wine at a local restaurant.
Sunday 26 September – Palma
A professionally guided cultural tour of central Palma, discovering the city’s fascinating history and character, followed by another relaxed group lunch.
Monday 27 September – Gentle walk
Another easy-paced 3–4 mile walk, taking in a mixture of local trails and coastline, followed by a wonderful 3-course lunch.
Tuesday 28 September – Free day
A day to relax by the pool, explore locally or simply do as much or as little as you please.
Wednesday 29 September – Vineyard visit
A guided visit to one of Mallorca’s largest vineyards, including a tour and wine tasting, followed by a group lunch.
Thursday 30 September – Final walk
Our final gentle 3–4 mile walk, followed by a leisurely farewell lunch and a chance to celebrate a great week together.
Friday 1 October – Departure Day
Time to say goodbye, after a relaxed and enjoyable week discovering Mallorca.
All walks are taken at an easy-going pace, with both of us personally leading the group and a support vehicle available if required. Our cultural visits are led by experienced local guides, giving you a fascinating insight into Mallorca’s history, traditions and way of life, with us coming along as your hosts, of course.
Our holiday base
For this Mallorca holiday, we’re staying at the Hotel Romantic, ideally located just a few metres from the beautiful beach at Port de Pollença and around five minutes walk from the marina. The centre of Port de Pollença is also close by, with a great choice of cafés, bars and restaurants within easy walking distance.
The hotel’s air-conditioned, en-suite bedrooms have been newly refurbished for 2027, and each comes with its own small balcony. They provide a comfortable and relaxing space to return to after a day exploring the island. As with most of our holidays, there’s no single supplement and single travellers don’t have to share if they don’t want to.
