Who comes on our singles holidays
The vast majority of our guests are between 50 and 75 years old and most of our groups have a slight female bias. Other than that, we attract people from all over the country and from a diverse range of backgrounds.
Our group size is normally somewhere between 10 and 24 people and we are aware that people travel alone for a whole number of reasons. Some of our guests are recently divorced or separated, whilst others have partners at home who simply don’t like walking. Not everyone arrives alone either. Some of our guests can’t quite pluck up the courage to travel solo and ask a friend to come and offer a bit of moral support. The only restriction that we apply to our singles holidays is “no couples”.
Many of our singles holiday guests come back time after time to enjoy a week’s walking in the sun. The current record holder has been walking with us 25+ times and one lady has joined us 3 times within a 12 month period, once on each of the Balearic Islands.
We are aware that some people are travelling alone for the first time in a number of years having suffered a loss. We know how difficult this can be and have welcomed many people to the Islands who have found themselves suddenly alone. We can promise you of our best attention at all times during the course of your holiday.
