About our easy walking holidays for singles on Menorca

Our easy singles walking holidays on Menorca are aimed squarely at people who enjoy the idea of a singles walking holiday, but with a less physically demanding selection of walks. All other aspects of this holiday are same as our standard singles weeks. These include lovely beach front accommodation, superb food/wine and a lot of laughter.

The walks

The walks offered as part of this holiday are all around 4 miles, vaguely undulating and taken at the pace of the slowest in the group. There are 2 guides in attendance and a backup vehicle also traces the route and this is in case someone needs a lift along the way. As well as being a backup vehicle, it carries all required drinking water, plus tea/coffee and digestive biscuits, which we enjoy on route. The walks take place along stunning coastal paths, beautiful woodland tracks and some of the loveliest beaches and bays in Europe.

Our holiday base

Our holiday base is the wonderful Hotel Playa Santandria, set in the charming little cove of the same name. The hotel is right on the beach and only 20 metres from the water’s edge. Whilst Cala Santandria has a quiet and peaceful feel, there are several bars/restaurants nearby and the hotel has a lovely little bar/restaurant of its own. This bright and breezy hotel is family owned and has an adult only policy. Its rooms are bright and modern, with an ample balcony and powerful showers. Facilities include a huge sea facing sun terrace, a small outdoor swimming pool and compact gym. The breakfast room is also sea facing and offers spectacular views.

The food

The food and drink on this holiday are a major part of the overall experience and we spend nearly as much time researching this as we do the walking itself. The level is significantly better than you’d normally expect from an activity holiday. During the week, we’ll eat at 6 distinct restaurants, some of which are mostly frequented by well-informed locals. All wine with your meals is included in the holiday price.

The allocation of rooms is random, but should you decide that you want to guarantee a full sea view, we can give you a supplement quote upon request.
